Samm Diep, “Cherry Bomb”
“My life is completely immersed in pool and billiards. My mission is to promote our sport in a positive, professional manner. I wish to inspire others,” said Samm.
Samm Diep, Colorado native, is a semi-professional player and nationally recognized pool/billiard personality. Having only been competing seriously since 2003, from the start, she found herself fortunate enough to train alongside many of the top instructors in the country. Within two years, she won her first two national amateur titles and her list of accomplishments has continued since.
Samm is the house pro at both Rack ‘Em Billiards and Table Steaks at Mile Nine in Aurora, CO. She also conducts classes at the Aurora Recreation Center as well as local retirement communities. Whenever possible, she’s practicing or teaching, and also avails herself for industry consultation and demonstrations.
Since 2005, Samm has been a contributing writer for many regional billiard publications. These days, she has a very strong presence in the online pool community and her writing can be found in most regional and national magazines. She has also created professional video productions with some of the top instructors and most recently with InsidePoolMag.com.
In November of 2005, she published “You Might Be A D Player If… (101 Classic Moves That All Pool Players Can Appreciate),” a book that was inspired by her early years of league play.
